Job Description

Safely and efficiently perform manual labor during the production process of products. Operate and troubleshoot two production machines, setting up and running two machines, retrieving own material and doing your own material transactions. Perform minor repairs as necessary. Actively support and strive to meet the strategic goals set by the facility and Danfoss.Robotic machines. SMT Robotic Benders and Auto Crimpers. Complex troubleshooting is a daily expectation of this position.

*New Hires may be required to train on 1st Shift which may take several weeks depending on the position and how quickly someone can meet the Individual Training Standards before being permanently assigned FT to this shift.

Job Responsibilities
  • Must be able to learn, apply, and retain new techniques, concepts and procedures required for continuously improving products, processes, services, deliveries and overall quality.
  • Ability to read and understand blue prints, control plans, routers, job instructions and measurement tools. Must be able to make decisions regarding what part to run based on the min/max levels of inventory.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot around the cameras and machines finding its home position. Must have expanded visual inspection abilities and know the escalation process when employee needs help on a part or machine.
  • Maintain flexibility to be able to move from work area to work area in order to meet the delivery expectations of the customers and the productivity goals for the plant. Able to work efficiently to establish standards without constant supervision.
  • Promotes cooperation and "team oriented" work environment at all times under the direction of the leadership.
  • Creates/maintains a safe work environment and practices safety for themselves and others at all times.
Background & Skills
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Ability to read blueprints and gage parts
