Job Summary

The Regional Coordinator Manager is responsible for assisting the packaging plants within the Mountain-Midwest region with inventory management, overseeing Sales Coordinators, and assisting with other special projects and challenges to provide opportunities for improvement. Works directly with the RDO to develop action plans and assist them with operations' challenges and opportunities.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

  • Works with OVP to evaluate the current state within the region and establishes direction and long-term goals
  • Acts as a conduit for sharing success, best practices, and key learning amongst the plants within the region
  • Prepares various reports as required
  • Performs other duties as required

Regional Sales Coordinator Management Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist region in training coordinators on the systems/processes/expectations
  • Assign Account Reps to Coordinators based on both side's book of business
  • Manage sales coordination team including oversight of
    • Approving hourly WorkForce punches
    • Attendance
    • Discipline
  • Create standard notes and standard delivery requirements and expectations for customers
  • Oversee onboarding of new customer process to ensure seamless process
  • Set goals for the coordination team and manage team training requirements and recommendations
  • Hold daily operations meetings with Shipping/Plant Management/Coordinatorsto go over shipping and production schedule to ensure everyone is on the same page

Regional Inventory Management Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create/Maintain Min/Max's for all plants within region
  • Maintain aging inventory reports weekly
  • Hold bi-weekly calls with Purchasing and Plant Managers
  • Sit in on bi-weekly calls with the Sales Team and Purchasing to let them know the current state of the region on inventory
  • Sit in on the weekly Friday Purchasing call with Packaging segment
  • Assume point of contact for all plants (both sales and production) to order anything outside of contract fiber, including but not limited to Protective Packaging
  • Maintain a weekly trend RL report
  • Work with the Packaging Specialists within the region on quoting/costing/codes/load%/weight

Qualifications

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in business or related discipline or equivalent experience is required
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as a sales coordinator
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
